Hsien-Ming Lien

Ming Lien is currently an President of Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research, Vice President of Research Institute for Democracy, Society and Emerging Technology, CEO of Taiwan Studies Center, and Professor at Department of Public Finance, National Chengchi University, where he teaches health systems, health economics, and econometrics.

He earned his B.S. from National Taiwan University, and Ph. D. from Boston University. His research focuses on 1) physician’s behavior; 2) the impact of the NHI program on health care market; 3) the impact of copayment on health care use.
